Comrades Marathon 2024 Date. It is an up run starting at the city hall in durban and finishing in pietermaritzburg. In order to qualify to run the comrades marathon, you need to run a standard marathon (42,2km) in a time of less than 4:50.

The 2025 comrades marathon will take place on sunday, june 8, 2025 from 05h30 at the durban in pietermaritzburg, kwazulu natal. This year the race will take place on sunday 9 june.
